Hello and welcome to www.granthulley.com. This is my personal website and a place for me to talk about the hobbies I have. I also keep my blog here, a way for me to talk about new computer projects and information taking place in the world today. Feel free to look around and please comment on a post if it interests you!
A little about me
For those who haven’t guessed my name is Grant. (My photo is somewhere towards the bottom of this page) I’m the Managing Director and Owner of Ghost Enterprises and as such decided to put a bit of information about myself online for anyone who wanted to know a bit more. So to start with I was born in South Africa. My family and I left Port Elizabeth when I was ten years old. We initially moved to Germany, to a city called Wolfsburg which I believe is the 6th largest city in the northern half of Germany, here I went to school and learnt Germany for just under a year.
From Germany my family and I immigrating to Great Britain, moving to a seaside town on south coast called Worthing. This is where I completed my middle school education. Just after starting high school we decided to move to the Isle of Man and to a village called Onchan which has the second largest population on the island. Whilst on the Island I completed my GCSE’s in Maths, Science, English and eight other subjects. Since then we have moved back to the UK, this time though we settled in South Woodham Ferrers. A town around 15 minutes outside of Chelmsford. This is where I started my higher level education through Chelmsford College, here I completed a Btec National Diploma in IT.
This sparked an interest in Technology and following this I moved to The University of Reading to study Computer Science and Cybernetics. Since completing my degree I have founded Ghost Enterprises, an IT consultancy based in South Woodham Ferrers from which I now operate.
